The film rating we would give our film is a 15. This is because anyone under the age of 15 may find it unsettling as it could happen in real life. The characters are of that age so audiences watching will be able to relate as it is a beleivable storyline. Also the party scene at the opening will relate to younger people. Another film that our film could be compared to is 'Kidulthood' and the sequal 'Adulthood'. They both have characters that are of a yound age and represent a social group. Also, the main characters in our own film and in Kidulthood and Adulthood are both of an ethnic minority. This may broaden the target audience as it appeals to different cultures.
